The History of Uquiz...

Uquiz was created in 2013 and has been going strong ever since, with their headquarters based in london. They've undergone many updates and will likely undergo more in the future, which we are all excited for. In fact, here is what early uquiz looked like: https://files.catbox.moe/kpnmg2.jpeg

However, this time period isnt what we'll be focusing on, as im assuming most of the current Uquiz community had been a bunch of toddling bitches in 2013 when Uquiz was created.

The community we have today began to materialize in around 2020 up to present date. Its unclear as to when people began making textbox series, but they've become the staple of our community and the glue holding us all together. These textbox quizzes allow us to maintain parasocial relationships with fellow uquizzians.

The earliest textbox quiz to be found belongs to uquizzian Rcane. Rcane is no longer active but their textbox series titled "Nefarious textbox" spanned well over a hundred entries and lasted for two years.

Another well known textbox series belonged to user shphnxx, also known as Mike. You can find Mike's textbox quizzes under the discovery tag "shphnxxtextbox."

A fair amount of textbox quizzes are no longer active (for example, Des aka logstick's) series, however one of the oldest still going textbox series belongs to uquizzian Username825, who is still a prevalent member in today's Uquiz society.

"To my knowledge, the 825 allure came from its mysterious, almost ARG-esque elements and vague, cryptic story." says user sexyawesomeguy, another Uquiz veteran.

A lot of Uquiz drama has ensued, but around 2023 one of the biggest arising dramas was caused by a user under the names "Bonnie" and "Bonita." They used their two accounts to send each other death threats, causing distress to the Uquiz new page.

Another large kerfuffle was caused by a user going by the name "Tabby" or "Puffcest." Its theorized that she and another shock poster "catterpilled"/"stargirlmiloo" were the same person posting from two different accounts to generate pity from the Uquiz community.

"It will be forever unconfirmed if Tabby and caterpilled were the same person, but I believe the Bonnie/Bonita insanity was a satirical mockery of the Tabby/caterpilled situation, with Bonita posting nasty ass shit and receiving backlash from the dedicated but equally nasty 'hater', Bonnie. That's just my conspiracy theory, though. The two could be entirely disconnected." says sexyawesomeguy, who practically wrote this entire page. Thanks sexyawesomeguy. Your sexiness is unmatched.

Though the amount of trolls Uquiz has decreased substantially, a few names still stick out, such as "Chester1939" (a user who frequently posted morally distressing confessions) and "Mr. Hello" (a user who spammed the new page for several hours.)

Overall, the biggest and most well known troll was the aforementioned Tabby/Puffcest. She started out making fairly normal quizzes, but slowly descended into insanity and drama as she brought in people from other platforms and began behaving toxically over several facets. She spammed the new page daily with various soulmate and age gap themed quizzes, going on to lie about her age and often try to contact those who scored well on her "am i your type" style quizzes. She began to descend into madness, posting disturbing quizzes involving dark sexual fantasies and true crime, leading some uquizzians to try to reach out to her friends and family in concern for Tabby's mental health.

Eventually Tabby's spamming ceased after a lot of spitback from the Uquiz community, and she now resides on other platforms, continuing to cause drama in a never ending cycle.

Since then, a few other trollers have made their way through the Uquiz algorithm, such as "skyburns" and the other guy (didnt care enough about him to remember his name sorry) who used Controversial Opinions quizzes to ragebait the Uquiz community with homohobic and transphobic statements.

Nowadays Uquiz has calmed down considerably. The only drama painting the new page is silly and unserious, leading into our next subject, the Coconut Crab Clan. Said clan was our current community's predecessor, and is missed greatly among longtime uquizzers.

The Uquiz community perished slightly in late 2024, with an absence of textbox quizzes, there wasnt really anything holding the fabled uquizzians together. However, on March 17th, Lacemoss released their first textbox quiz, which would go on to span over a hundred quizzes and bring forth more textbox series, such as the Schnookums series created by Baldrina, (which resulted in the Honey Bunnies Discord Server, establishing a new for, of communication to the Uquizzians,) or the Speak with Me series created by EzratheNoodle.

There was a small lapse in the peace when uquizzian "Likeasurgeon" came forth about being stalked by user "Clydical." The drama was quickly resolved between the two of them, and clydical went on to create the Uquiz Daily News, a popular textbox series detailing important events happening with the community and keeping everyone up to date.

As the community came to fruition, an idea suddenly arose. Beginning with Hawaiifuck19's attempt to take over Uquiz, an election was held. Pigeon (aka DrLecter2) ran against Hawaiifuck19 for the position of president, and Baldrina ran against Lacemoss for Uquiz representive.

Pigeon and Lacemoss won, marking the first term of the Uquiz Government. Pigeon's reign was a time of peace and prosperity, and will forever go down in Uquiz history. There is some speculation about sexyawesomeguy rigging the elections by threatening Clyde, but theyve never been proven.

With elections taking place on the eighteenth of every month, soon a new election had approached. Clydical tasked Baldrina with running it, and Baldrina went on to win (rightfully.) There was a bit of backlash, as many thought baldrina may have rigged the election in their favor. However, such suspicions are untrue.

Baldrina's election started off rocky, to no fault of their own. With assassination threats against both Baldrina and Panopossum, there was a lot of confusion and even light comtroversy between uquizzians. Eventually all was resolved, but not before Lacemoss was consensually taken hostage by sexyawesomeguy and pigeon in an attempt to get baldrina to give into dictatorship.

While this was happening, a marriage was taking place between Panopossum and Clydical, resulting in clyde's pregnancy.

Baldrina held strong, instead putting Sheriff Nicky on the case to arrest sexyawesomeguy. Nicky posted a bounty on his head, leading sexyawesomeguy to turn himself in and claim the reward. Pigeon was left free, and he went on to assassinate Baldrina. The vice president, Kjoe, took their place as president.

Baldrina was quickly resurrected by the head of animation Liliberryfox09, leading into kjoe's presidency.

After a disappearance from clyde, the baby was finally born, a healthy female infant who was named Marlow by the community. Marlow is the first ever child to be born as a result of Uquiz.

All of these events have lead up to present day, where we anticipate the result of the upcoming election.
